Debbie Scoppechio was the founder, Chairman and former CEO of Scoppechio. She started Creative Alliance in 1987; the agency changed its name to Scoppechio in 2015. Founded on service, Scoppechio quickly grew to become the region's largest marketing agency. With 170 full-time advertising professionals in Louisville, Cincinnati and Columbus.
The Debbie Scoppechio Courage Award will honor Debbie’s legacy as a strong industry leader who continued to persevere in business despite her metastatic breast cancer diagnosis.
Debbie was a big believer in giving back. Under Debbie's leadership, Scoppechio has donated literally thousands of pro bono man-hours over a thirty-year period for a wide variety of local causes.
Debbie's was an outgoing community and business leader. Her community involvement and list of achievements are well known throughout the area. Debbie's crowning achievement, however, was to start a business from nothing and have it not only survive after 30 years but continue to grow and prosper.
Debbie may be remembered most for the people that she touched by her love and her big heart. She hired and mentored literally hundreds of young people in her advertising career, which spanned four decades. Debbie inspired a countless number of young women in Louisville and beyond to be all they can be.
Twisted Pink will consider nominations from corporations or individuals that incorporate the following characteristics for an individual who displays:

*History of lifetime achievements that also have a lasting impact on others and the community
In 2020 the Inaugural Debbie Scoppechio Courage Award was presented to Lara MacGregor. Lara is the Founder of Hope Scarves, an International non-profit organization based in Louisville, KY.
