Twisted Pink believes that collaboration is key to reaching our mission and vision goals. We thank the following organizations for the collaborative efforts in helping us provide hope and connection to people facing metatsatic breast cancer! We believe in and are encouraged by collaborative efforts and the results we’ve witnessed in action by this open door policy. If you are interested in a collaboration with Twisted Pink, please email us at info@twistedpink.org.
Since 2017 Twisted Pink has joined a large community of breast cancer survivors to bring more hope and awareness about metastatic breast cancer to our local community. The Pink Woman Fashion Show and annual Faces of Hope Campaign is a collaboration between Oxmoor Center, Twisted Pink and Today's Woman Magazine. The event takes place annually in September/October at Oxmoor Center.
Some of our best collaborations come from community members who want to help impact our mission. Email us if you have a great idea on a collaborative event that will impact our mission at info@twistedpink.org
Twisted Pink is a non-profit member of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance. Our collaborative goals are to increase knowledge, build understanding and impact research for metastatic breast cancer.
Twisted Pink is an advocacy partner with the MBCProject. The Metastatic Breast Cancer Project takes a new approach to cancer research in which researchers partner directly with patients, who share their samples and clinical information in order to speed important discoveries. Learn more.
In 2017, together with Hope Scarves and The Cancer Couch Foundation we raised $600,000 and secured an anonymous 1:1 match for each dollar we raised for a total donation of $1.2 million towards metastatic breast cancer research. That’s double what our organizations could have done alone.
Our collaboration with the United Breast Cancer Foundation has provided support services to over 407 breast cancer survivors in our region. Survivors have received new Tempur-Pedic mattresses, pink bags filled with beauty products and tech accessories. These products help offset the cost of living with a cancer diagnosis.
